Babies grow into toddlers

I was now determined to sort my garden. My poor little
tomato plant hadn't made it.

I was a little anxious as olivia was now growing up.
I was wondering who she would look like most.

For my angels birthday i made a birthday area. It came with cake,
tables, balloons and bbq.

The cooker, fridge, plates and surfaces were covered in grime :(

Unfortunately i missed olivia blowing out her candles. Looks like she
inherited my hair.

She looks like me the most. Awwwwww such a little cutie.

i re-designed olivia's room now it looked more girly and pretty.

I love this photo. Both olivia and daddy are tired after a big party.

Live with Olivia

I was leo's first hold of his new little princess. I could tell that
he loved more than anything.

She was such an angelic little girl. She never woke in the nights.
But in the mornings if she wasn't given lots of attention she screamed
the house down.

with the birth of olivia i hadn't given much love and care to my garden.
nappies and milk was costing us a fortune. i was desperate to get stuck
into my gardening to make some money.

Whilst at work. Leo found a chunk of moon rock. we sold it for
quite a bit of money.

It was her first ever little tantrum. she was lonely. i was asleep
and leo had left for work.

She seemed to love her father. as soon as he came home she smiled
and giggled. a definite daddy's girl.

'
The stench of the oven and bad food made my face curl.
yuckkk.

Olivia was already half ay through her baby stages.
Soon she would be toddling, teething, talking and going to potty.
I thought to take a trip to my good friend eva.

Eva was so pleased to see me. she didn't put down eva all night .
She also reminded me that i would be returning to work soon.

Time for cleaning agin.

I was really getting used to mother-hood. i was even dreaming
about the best baby milk formulae.

Olivia loved the t.v. she always smiles at the faces and moving pictures.
She was always happy when i put the kids channel on.

As a treat leo made waffles. His cooking was certainly improving.

This is the new quite area. this is where we can sit with olivia,
read and relax.

Life with pregnancy

Well, when there was no sign of bump i continued life as normal.

When eva phoned she was thrilled to here the news. She asked if
she was invited to the wedding. but i explained how me and leo
were going to wait till the baby was at least a tot or child. then they
could be page-boy/bridesmaid.

Leo kept saying how it wasn't good to do the gardening whilst pregnant.
when the bump shows thats when i shall stop i told him.

I had learned how to make ratatouille (sorry if spelt wrong). it was delishhh.

As of then i didn't know the gender of the baby. so for the walls we
decided on a beige wallpaper with baby related stencils on it.

With the house still only in one room. there was no where to
put a cot. the only solution was to expand the house.

We had our own little room too. i am planning to decorate it
soon. But at the moment we are short on money.

Wooooo first sign of baby Adams-bloom.

I was nice to have a room separate to the kitchen. I was bored of waking
up to the smell of last nights dinner.

That night the stars were so visible. So i took a pic.

finialy my baby was showing. It was weird being pregnant as it made
me walk strange.

it was my due date. my stomach was huge. Eva had dropped
by to see how i was doing. She asked it when i was going to go and
give ger a visit.

That night i ate grilled cheese waiting for leo to return home.
Today had gone so slow. I needed to go out as not being able to go
anywhere was taking its toll on me.

Eventually leo came home. he gave me a huge hug and asked
if there had been any twinges. Not yet i said. i knew he was going to be
a wonderful father. even now he spent all the time he could
talking to my bump and feeling it kick.

It was 12:00 in the night. it was pitch black outside. The stars still bright.
A sudden pain stabbed in my belly. Baby was on the way.

when leo saw me he freaked out. He was screaming and jumping.
he was reacting worse than me.

We phoned the hospital that said the maternity ward was full.
Home birth for my little darling.

Introducing Olivia Daisy Bloom-Adams. 6lbs 3 ounces.
My first little princess.

As i put her by my face she held my face. She knew that i was
her mummy.

Her first feed.  Our little girl was beautiful. And she turned
out with the friendly and artistic traits.

Nausea and a BIG question :o

As a thank you gift, leo bought me a beautiful garden. Full of
fruit and veg plants. My gardening skill was growing and so was
my career. i was now a food taster.

I had learned many new recipes too. I loved to make goopy cabonara.

Making food was a big hobby of mine,as was gardening.
I was thinking of a new hobby to do but it would have to be cheap.
Maybe painting or the piano. even tho thats expensive, i loved
listening to my grandmother playing her piano.

As a treat and a 4 months of living with leo. I had a giant tub
of orange ice-cream. Time had flown by so fast.

This is the latest gadget in are house. A washing machine. It was
10% of if we bought  clothes line.

Leo wanted to raise his athletic skill. Even tho he was kind
and friendly, i wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of him
if he was angry.

At least with my new job came new clothes. Each day
i had to wear my formal wear. Much nicer than that shirt and hat.

Well i don't have to say what happened next.

After we fell straight asleep. Strangely Leo started
dreaming about a new pair of shoes.

With a new washer came new chores. Our house was filled
with laundry piles. so i was elected to do it.

As i went to put the clothes in the washer. A sudden pain in my
stomach growled and i threw up. Must of ate something funny
at work.

It was my first time doing the wash. Trying to guess the write amount
of powder to put in. it was only when it had started that i noticed the instructions on
the side :(

I was feeling sooo sooo ill. my head was pounding and my stomach was
killing me. To top it off my back felt like i had carried a ton of bricks
the whole length of twinbrook.  Leo was a saint he done all of the house-
work and tended to my every need. he made me rest all day.

I had learned how to make spaghetti. even tho i felt ill
i had to continue my normal life. i had to cook because
no offence, but leo cant cook to save his life.

At that moment i remembered. the other night. I WAS PREGNANT.
i explained to leo. he was so shocked. he told me to get comfy clothes
on so i didn't have to ware the stupid maternity ware that i have to ware.

After i changed the biggest shock off all happened. Leo went down
on one knee and said 'Lauren Adams you are the love of my life, will
you be my wife'. Well of course i said yes .

Straight after the proposal i officially found out that i was pregnant.
We decided to marry after the baby. Then i could pick the best wedding
dress i could find.
